Where do your products come from?
Our products are sourced from more than 40 artisan groups across Egypt, including Cairo, Luxor, Fayoum, and North Sinai, preserving diverse local traditions. You learn more about the artisans through their detailed profiles on our site. Every product page mentions the specific group that crafted it.

Do I need an account to place an order?
No, you can check out as a guest. However, we recommend creating an account as it allows you to track your orders, save your shipping information, and enjoy a faster checkout process for future purchases.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Cash on Delivery (COD), Visa, and Mastercard (credit and debit cards) for all local orders
How long does local shipping take?
Local shipping within Egypt usually takes 3 to 5 business days from the date of order confirmation.
Where in Egypt can you deliver?
Fair Trade Egypt delivers to addresses across all 27 governorates in Egypt.
What is your return and exchange policy?
You may return or e contentxchange your order within 14 days from the date of receipt. You will receive a full refund (excluding the original shipping costs) provided the items are in original, sellable condition and accompanied by the original receipt.

Yes, every single product we sell is meticulously handcrafted by skilled Egyptian artisans. This ensures that each piece is unique and supports the preservation of traditional craft techniques.
Will my product look exactly like the photo online?
Because our products are handmade, slight variations in color, size, pattern, and texture are natural characteristics of the item. These minor differences confirm the uniqueness and artisan quality of your purchase

Yes, we operate two flagship shops in Cairo at El-Zamalek & Heliopolis

Wholesale and Export

Do you ship internationally?
We currently do not ship individual retail orders internationally. International shipping is exclusively handled for Wholesale and B2B (Business-to-Business) orders through our dedicated export department
How can I become an international wholesale partner or inquire about export?
Please email your inquiry to our Export Team at export@fairtradeegypt.org. We will respond promptly with all the details regarding pricing, minimum order quantities (MOQs), and next steps.
What international shipping options do you offer for wholesale orders?
We offer three main options for our international wholesale partners:
1. Door-to-Door Shipping: This is the fastest and most convenient option for smaller or sample orders, as it includes customs fees. Due to the comprehensive service, the overall fees are higher than the other methods.
2. Air Cargo Shipping (Airport to Airport): Delivery to the nearest international airport is a very quick method, typically taking around 3–5 days depending on flight availability. The cost depends on the weight and volume of the shipment and excludes customs fees. You will need to contract a local customs agent for clearance upon arrival.
3. Ocean Freight Shipping (LCL & FCL): This is the most cost-effective solution for larger volume orders, offering two sub-options: * Less than Container Load (LCL): Ideal for medium-sized bulk orders that do not fill a container (volume is shared with other shippers).
Full Container Load (FCL): Recommended for high-volume orders where the entire container is dedicated solely to your shipment, offering greater security and faster transit times compared to LCL.
