Mona is the CEO of Fair Trade Egypt, whose main goal was to keep Egypt’s heritage alive. She started her journey in Fair Trade in 2003 with her small team that happened to expand through the years. Thanks to her efforts, her organization was chosen to be a member of the World Fair Trade Organization in 2008. And since then, successes have been enlarging.
Operations Manager
Emad Faiez
Emad is the foundation of our operations, making certain that all aspects from logistics to warehouse management function seamlessly. He joined our team in 2011. Besides managing day-to-day activities, he is the primary contact for addressing challenges, ensuring that every element of Fair Trade Egypt operates effectively. Most importantly, he’s our main go-to when it comes to solving problems.
Head of Artisans Development Team
Karem El Masry
Karem collaborates with artisans throughout Egypt, making sure they have the assistance, education, and materials necessary for their work. He is instrumental in the development of artisans, aiding them in honing their skills while maintaining the integrity of traditional crafts. Since 2011, Karem’s been supervising all matters related to artisans.
Business Development Officer
Khadiga Mofeed
Khadiga joined the team in 2018, her role is essential to Fair Trade Egypt's company expansion since she finds growth prospects and builds relationships. Beyond company development and her passion for cultural heritage and arts in general, she also helps with product design and marketing plans, making sure our handcrafted goods are unique in the marketplace.

Islam Mohamed
Islam oversees the purchasing of stock, guaranteeing that we consistently offer the finest selection of handcrafted goods. For 13 years, his sharp attention to quality and effective stock management enable us to uphold a smooth supply chain.
